The first paragraph of article 152 of Regulation (EU) 2019/6 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2018 on veterinary medicinal products and repealing Directive 2001/82/EC (OJ L No. 4 of 7. 1. 2019) states:
Marketing authorisations of veterinary medicinal products and registrations of homeopathic veterinary medicinal products granted in accordance with Directive 2001/82/EC or Regulation (EC) No 726/2004 before 28 January 2022 shall be deemed to have been issued in accordance with this Regulation, and are, as such, subject to the relevant provisions of this Regulation.
According to the above mentioned Article, the marketing authorisations of veterinary medicinal products issued by JAZMP in line with Medicinal Products Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia No. 17/2014 and 66/19), for which the period of validity expires after the 28th January 2022, are automatically valid for an unlimited period of time.
